Teachers’ guide to research
Teaching and Learning Research Programme
The original brief was for a teachers’
newsletter on the findings from the
TLRP’s 23 research projects on how
children learn in school. I expanded
it into a teachers’ guide, highlighting
how the findings apply in the classroom
with examples, case studies and
commentary. I brought in an experienced
ex-TES designer to ensure it would look
lively and relevant. The guide was sent
to every school in the UK and is used in
teacher education.
